What to do, what to do...

One of my instructor's was kind enough to share hes Leave and Earnings Statement with us today. He was showing what to expect on your statement in the future, once they leave tech training. Man oh man, am I in the wrong job. Right now, hes making at least 25k a year, and thats AFTER his house, bills, food for him and his family and payments for vehicles are made.


Why did I ever leave the military!!! ARGH!!

Some times I really hate my decision making abilities... If I go active duty, almost 1k bucks would be given to me just to live off of! But i will end any shot I have of pursuing my dream of being a game designer. (Not that its going anywhere now...)

Guess my decision has been made for me. Now lets see if the guard will LET me go active!

The CO's gone mad, MAD i tell you!!

Boy oh boy, most interesting thing happened during final formation this week. The Major was happy. Estatically happy. I have never seen that kind of behavior from a Commanding Officer. EVER. All we needed was some booty music and it would have been a party. According to the Major, "The General's visit went so well, he was almost in tears after he left the squadron area today."

Of course, we received our, "Have a safe weekend, dont break the law!" speech. But he had the entire formation crackign up and breaking their military bearing with giggling. Most enjoyable.

He even gave us all a direct order to call our families. Oh well, his heart was in the right place. He he.
