Darn Lawful Good alignment!!! Sometimes I really hate you.
Got a real life situation here.
As some of you know, I have recently moved into a new living domicile with two other humans and one temporary roommate that is here for the summer. One of the humans is dating the temp. When they are not arguing, she is near tears. Normally, I would not hesitate if I am roomed with them to at least say something. However, here is the situation that makes this a bit awkward.
The male one that is doing all the yelling is the one that is one the lease. Not the one in trouble. If I step in as much as i think i may have to, (to have an effect, that is,) I risk having issues keeping my dwelling, (possible evition issues, since im not on the lease, but have paid deposits and the like.)
Stepping in is the thing i want to do, but i risk my financial future (paying bills, etc...)
I will probably act on my own soon, but I would like a little outside imput..
Whadauthink??????
Stay in alignment and be the good guy, taking all concequences?
or Play for #1 and sit on my hands?

You could always kill him, hide the body and assume his identity...
Seriously, I am the LAST person to give you advice in this area. That won't stop me, of course. Maybe you could talk to him in an offhand manner, sort of a 'What's going on with you two?" type of thing. Maybe ask if you can help out or something?
